"The Long Tide" review: a patient lighthouse thriller that sticks the landing

A slow-burning two-hander about a lighthouse keeper and a stranded sailor, with a finale that earns its twist.

In this story

"The Long Tide" is set almost entirely in a single lighthouse over four stormy nights. It takes its time, and then it grips.

Both leads are excellent in a tight, mostly two-person script. The twist at the end changes how you see the first hour without feeling like a trick.
